William “Willie” Fernandez is the Founder of Pini Insurance, a family-owned business that has grown to become a trusted name in the industry. Willie knows firsthand the hard work and sacrifice that goes into achieving the American Dream. Pini Insurance has always been committed to listening and adapting to their customer’s needs. At Pini Insurance, Willie believes in integrity, quality of service, treating others with respect, and gratitude. These values have been the cornerstone of the company’s success and have helped build strong relationships with their customers. Willie is passionate about giving back to the community, and he has made it a priority to support local organizations and initiatives. David Hand
President of Insurance Programs
David Hand
David has spent his career in the insurance industry, primarily supporting independent agents throughout the country. During his 20 year career at Progressive Insurance, David was responsible for managing the agency distribution organizations in states around the country, including Florida, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Maine, Kentucky and Ohio. During his time at Progressive he was responsible for agency management and development at all levels. Small agencies to large complex agencies operating at national levels.
After Progressive, David worked at an Insurtech building a large agency model and supporting the development and relationships of insurance carriers around the country. As an industry expert within the insurance industry, David is an experienced leader, mentor, consultant and servant leader.
David earned his Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland, Heidelberg, while living in England and is completing his MBA through the University of Saint Francis.
Gus Fernandez

Gus Fernandez
Gustavo Ferandez (Gus) represents the culture of Pini! Gus is the ultimate salesman and professional. In addition to being a fully licensed agent, Gus operates and manages many of the additional Pini branded businesses, including Classic Dream Stables. As one of the original founders of the Pini brand, he has spent 20+ years with Pini.
Gus is a South Florida native, and along with his brother William, comes from a family of sales people. Gus has experience within the banking and finance industry and extensive experience in the automobile dealership and mortgage professions. When not working on a Pini business his hobbies include fishing, spending time outdoors, horseback riding.
Monica Hasty

Monica Hasty
Monica joined the Pini family 8 years ago. She earned her Master’s degree in International Relations and Business Management from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala. Prior to joining Pini, she worked 22 years in International Sales and International Logistics. Monica’s developed the international sales division, which became the leading growth department for the company. Monica is currently the Pini Operations General Manager, driving sales and service results across the company. Monicas passion and work ethic have allowed Pini to expand their operations from a centralized call center to additional locations around south Florida. Her ability to galvanize and encourage other team members has been integral to support and build relations within the team.
Luis Lugo

Luis Lugo
Prior to joining the Pini Leadership Team, Luis was Account Manager/Consultant for various HR Consulting Firms that included Synadyne, TeamStaff, GevityHR, Trinet and Service Provider Group. Throughout his tenure with the above HR Consulting Firms, he kept a strong business/personal relationship with our Management Team. Luis also served 20+ years with the U.S. Army as a Personnel Management Officer, where he worked in various HR positions and attained/retired as a Major, U.S. Army. Luis earned a BBA from InterAmerican University, followed by graduate studies at the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies for an MS in Counseling Psychology. In addition, he completed Human Resources Management with Broward Community College. Luis is a lifelong learner, his hobbies include, volleyball, family sports activities and his motto throughout his life is “Be all you can be”.
Adrian Fernandez

Adrian Fernandez
Adrian began his career in the insurance industry in June of 2020, joining the Pini Insurance family after graduating from his hometown Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Adrian credits all his success to growing up around his family’s business and the lessons and values taught to him by his parents and family. He started as an insurance agent at the multiple Pini dealership offices in Miami, and quickly rose to the position of Manager of Pini’s Lexus of West Kendall Office. As the General Manager of Dealership Operations, Adrian currently oversees and manages the daily operations of the seven different dealership locations where Pini currently operates. He looks to constantly learn, adapt, and grow with the company that gave him his first opportunity, Pini Insurance.

Eddy Batista Raxach
Eddy Graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s and a master’s degree in finance while working full time for South Miami Alfa Romeo and Fiat, where his hard work and dedication lead him to the Service Manager position. After working at the dealership for five years, Eddy decided it was time to make a career change, entering the Real Estate world as a Loan Officer Assistant for PRMG. A year later, obtained his Mortgage Loan Originator License and continued working as a Loan Officer for the same company. Eddy has also gained experience in the accounting field, managing his own business where he maintains the books for different entities.
Eddy is also a Notary Public, Accredited Tax Preparer, and a Certified Bookkeeper. When he is not working or crunching numbers his hobbies include playing baseball, table tennis and mountain bike riding.
William Salgado

William Salgado
Will brings over 15 years of valuable experience in the insurance industry, currently holding a license as an insurance agent. His expertise extends to claims operations, sales administration, and he holds a Masters in Public Administration from Florida International University. With a strong background in sales, training, claims processes, carrier contracts, and negotiations, Will is a standout addition to Pini Franchise partners.
